Hi! Welcome to my site.  My name is McKena, a proud native of Casper Wyoming. The wild west gave way to my creative ambitions from a young age where I grew up dancing and teaching at my mother’s dance studio. For thirteen years I was a competitive dancer and demonstrator. Upon graduating high school, I decided to pursue all of my passions and attend Millikin University where I received a BFA in Musical Theatre and a Minor in dance. Four years in the Midwest helped me to cultivate not only a niche for performing, but for teaching and choreographing, culminating in the opportunity to choreograph a brand-new musical from the minds of Canadian rockers Mike Ford and Murray Foster entitled Chelsea Sunrise. While movement is my jam, I'm as comfortable in a straight play as I am in a musical.  When not performing I am reading books, binge watching criminal minds, or trying and failing to bake some red velvet goodies. I currently reside in Las Vegas NV and am on faculty at Step Up Dance Academy. I just finished my inaugural season with the NBA G league Ignite Shock Squad.
